How to Sound More Confident at Work
Confidence, to a listener, is a set of speech habits — not a personality trait. You can change the habits without waiting to feel different.

Confidence is mostly language
You don't have to feel confident to sound confident, and the listener only hears the sound. What reads as confidence is largely a set of habits — how you phrase things, how you handle pauses, whether you commit to a view. Change the habits and the perception changes, often before the feeling catches up.
That's freeing, because it makes confidence a skill you can practise rather than a trait you either have or don't.
