Artiluca™

Claim your CPD hours

Many professional associations let members claim structured, self-directed learning toward their annual continuing professional development (CPD) requirement. Practice on Artiluca is structured learning: a defined curriculum, a published scoring rubric, and a verifiable record of completion.

Does it qualify?

That depends on your association's rules, and only they decide. Bodies whose frameworks include a self-directed or continuing-education category — common across HR, accounting, law, engineering, and project management — generally ask that the activity be planned, relevant to your competencies, and evidenced. Communication is a named competency in most professional frameworks. Check your association's CPD handbook, and when in doubt, ask them before claiming.

Artiluca is not an approved or accredited provider of any association's CPD program, and nothing here is a guarantee that your claim will be accepted.

Suggested hour mapping

Claim the time you actually spent — these are typical engagement ranges, not entitlements:

ActivityWhat it involvesTypical time
One course module25 scored interactive exercises + the module lesson3–4 hours
Full course (10 modules, one profession + level)250 scored exercises, spoken and written, to completion30–40 hours

Your evidence

  • Certificate of Completion — earned when you finish all ten modules at your profession and level, downloadable from the My progress page.
  • Signed verification link — every certificate carries a tamper-proof link an auditor can open to confirm it's genuine, plus an Open Badges 2.0 credential for badge platforms.
  • The curriculum itself — the module list and the full scoring rubric are public, so you can attach what the practice covered and how it was assessed.

How to claim, step by step

  1. Find the self-directed / continuing-education category in your association's CPD handbook.
  2. Log the activity as structured communication training with the hours you actually spent (the table above is a reasonable guide).
  3. Keep your Certificate of Completion and its verification link as evidence in case of an audit.
  4. If your association pre-approves activities, ask them first.
