A claim needs support
"This feature will drive growth" is an assertion; the reader has no reason to believe it beyond your say-so. Pair it with evidence — a number, a result, a comparison — and it becomes an argument. At any level where people are skeptical of spending or risk, the claim without support gets waved away.
Evidence is what turns your opinion into something a reasonable person can act on. It's the difference between "trust me" and "here's why".
